Being Seen And Heard
A full schedule of appearances and activities took place in the Apparel Section of the PGA Merchandise Show.

Here is a snippet of the highlights …

— Anna Nordqvist graciously autographed hats for guests at the Puma reception. When asked what she preferred to wear while golfing, the response was not the typical pants, capris, shorts or skorts answer.

"Shorts with leggings," she said.

Hmm, perhaps golf leggings are the next big fashion look for women. They’re certainly practical.

— Greg Norman made his annual appearance at the Greg Norman Collection booth for a cocktail reception — serving Greg Norman wine, no less.

— The Jack Nicklaus booth featured a Spanish guitarist to entertain guests at its post-show reception. Muy romantico. And kudos to Nicklaus' Heritage collection that was inspired by the Golden Bears' look in the 1960s, '70s and '80s and helped to celebrate his 70th birthday.

— Tom Watson looked dapper at the Ralph Lauren Polo Golf media event and spoke about his long-standing relationship with his apparel sponsor. The Hall of Famer also eloquently introduced Polo’s new kid on the block, Webb Simpson.

— Brian Gay chatted it up with PGA Show attendees at the Sligo booth and it will be interesting to see him wear the new Moroccan-inspired tile print Digitile trousers.

— AHEAD's annual hat drop went off without a snag, and Pukka Headwear’s popular beer bash challenged its long line attendees to fun games of beer pong.

— The LPGA booth had several players, such as Paula Creamer, who kindly flashed her smile to pose for photographs with show goers.

— Jane Park stopped by the Birdy & Grace booth to greet customers and show off pictures of the hundreds — and we mean hundreds — of balloons she blew up for her boyfriend’s birthday.
