PGA Tour Superstore Opens First Two Texas Locations In The Dallas Area
Expansion Into Dallas Follows Fall 2006 Opening Of Fourth Atlanta Location
ATLANTA and DALLAS - Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, Inc. (GTPS), headquartered in Atlanta, is opened two PGA TOUR Superstores in the Dallas area on March 1, 2007. The new stores mark the company's first locations in the Southwest.

The PGA TOUR Superstores carry the largest selection of golf equipment, apparel, shoes, accessories and golf-themed home décor offered in the Dallas area. One of the stores is 70,000 square feet and located in the northern Dallas suburb of Plano, and the other store is 65,000 square feet and located in Frisco.

"We're thrilled about our PGA TOUR Superstores opening in Dallas," said Bill Hamlin, chief executive officer of GTPS. "Our stores are the only in the area that offer expert assistance coupled with access to state-of-the-art technology and an extraordinary inventory of products. Our goal is to give recreational players access to the kind of resources that are available to the pros on tour."

All of the PGA TOUR Superstores provide golfers with an interactive, entertaining experience, as well as access to technology and services usually found in professional "Tour Vans" at tournament sites. PGA of America and other teaching pros are on staff to provide lessons, adjust a swing and guide club fitting. Tennis apparel, equipment and services will also be available, and each store will have an indoor tennis court.

"Golf and tennis players like our stores because our top priority is helping them to improve their game. In both of our new Dallas stores, we will have experts on staff and maintain an inventory that enables us to fit each customer with the club or racquet that's just right for them," continued Hamlin.

The PGA TOUR Superstore franchise was launched in 2004 with the acquisition of two stores in Myrtle Beach, S.C. By 2005, Golf Digest had named PGA TOUR Superstore the "Best Off-Course Golf Shop" in Myrtle Beach - a town that has nearly 100 golf shops. In March 2005, GTPS opened its first Atlanta area PGA TOUR Superstore in Roswell, which has since been joined by three more Atlanta Superstores in Kennesaw, Duluth and Buckhead. GTPS is also actively seeking locations in Houston, Orlando, Phoenix, and the Southern California cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, for Superstore openings in the near future.

"The PGA TOUR Superstore concept is a huge hit in each city it enters," said Leo McCullagh, PGA TOUR Vice President of Retail Licensing. "By concentrating on game improvement first and giving recreational golfers access to high-tech swing analysis, professional instruction and equipment choices like the TOUR players have, Superstore is revolutionizing golf retailing. It's very exciting to see how PGA TOUR Superstore has begun to have an impact on the industry's efforts to grow the game."

PGA TOUR Superstores are owned and operated by Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, Inc. (GTPS), headquartered in Atlanta, Ga. GTPS is the PGA TOUR's exclusive PGA TOUR partner for off-course/off-airport golf retailing.

Two Superstores operate as Martin's PGA TOUR Superstore in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach, S.C.
