The "final round" of PGA National's $65 million revitalization will be fully realized when its Haig Course re-opens this fall following an extensive renovation by Jupiter, Florida-based Tom Fazio II. As one of five golf courses at the resort, it will take a new name, "The Fazio Course."
The new-look 18 holes follow a complete makeover of the resort's amenities and grounds, including 379 rooms, clubhouse, spa, health and racquet club, and conference and meeting facilities. A stunning zero-entry pool, signature restaurant newly-named Ironwood Steak and Seafood, and the trendy, sophisticated iBAR are also among the contemporary additions.
Renovation of PGA National's 19th Hole bar and grill, to be branded "Bar 91," will be completed this fall with modern clubhouse furnishings, high-definition televisions and expanded outdoor dining overlooking one of the great vistas in golf.
