Spring Lake, NC - On Sunday, September 9th, active and former military men and women, touring and PGA professionals as well as amateur players tee up at Anderson Creek Golf Course in support of the Serenity Ridge 2nd Annual Warrior Pro-Am Tournament.
The Serenity-Ridge Pro-Am was established to recognize the soldiers who serve or have served in our armed forces. The tournament is held on 9/11 weekend because organizers felt it offered a perfect opportunity to both honor and reflect on those who have fought and died for our country.
Events start on Saturday, September 8th. From 2 pm-5 pm at Stryker Golf Course, both touring pros and PGA professionals will host a clinic and provide lessons. A meet and greet follows at 6:30 pm with acoustical music performed by Mark Cullinane.
Tournament play starts Sunday, September 9th at 11 am at Anderson Creek using a modified captain's choice format.
